The Cottage at The Barrington House

Welcome to the Cottage at the Barrington House! The Barrington House is nestled in the serene Berkshires Mountains - which have long been a sanctuary for weary city dwellers seeking breathing space, a perfect retreat for artists, writers and thinkers! It's sprawling grounds offer stunning views of lush valleys and distant peaks, while the interior features a fireplace, cozy reading nook, and unlimited windows that invite the natural world inside. *A sauna & cold plunge are available for rent Located on a private property just minutes from the slopes, the cottage comfortably sleeps 2 (in main bedroom), but can sleep up to 4 with an optional air mattress (by request) in the living room. Firewood is provided for the fireplace. The kitchen does not have an oven and has a mini-fridge and an electrical countertop. We recently installed an outdoor Breeo smokeless fire-pit, which can be used for over the fire cooking! Free private parking Cottage is across the lawn 100% self check-in. You will have complete privacy in our cottage. My wife and I (along with our three kids) live next door in our primary home on the same property. Parking is shared with the owner. We have one parking space available. Additional cars are allowed to park on the grass The neighborhood is generally not walkable as we don't have a sidewalk or shoulder. However, several neighbors are often found jogging/walking anyways so please exercise caution. Accessing neighboring towns will require a car My wife and I are on-site (along with our three kids) as the cottage is next to our home, and available for any needs. The cottage has blinds to provide you the privacy you deserve.
